Team Vitality joins amateur players!
This 2020 edition is an important milestone in strengthening the links between sport and eSport, thanks to a new partnership with the leading French eSport club in Europe: Team Vitality. For the first time in an international e-tennis competition, the qualified players will be supervised by professionals from the eSport scene and will make the most of their advice and gaming expertise. Amateur players will be supervised throughout the competition by the following athletes: Lyloun, Robi, Brawks and Airwaks, all supervised by Neo, the Team Vitality’s founder.
International qualifications during prestigious tournaments!
Masters 1000 Indian Wells, Masters 1000 Internazionali BNL of Italia in Rome or Open Parc Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, amateur players will enjoy a unique setting to experience this competition. Qualification phases will take place from March to May in the United States, Italy and France to determine the national champions who will compete in an international final played during the Roland-Garros tournament.
A coaching day by professionals held in an atmosphere of sharing
International qualifiers will enjoy an exceptional day of mentoring by Vitality athletes on the eve of the final, on June 5. A behind-the-scenes tour of the Grand Slam with former professional player Thierry Ascione will take place in the morning ahead of the men's semi-finals, which will begin in the afternoon. Then, they will follow Team Vitality's professional players to their headquarters, V.Hive, in the centre of Paris, for an in-depth coaching session. The goal is to get ready with sportsmen and eSportsmen and women to be at their best during the final!
A grand final at Roland Garros on June 6
For the third successive year, the international grand final will take place during the Paris Grand Slam, with a spectacular staging designed to drive participants into the atmosphere of major professional tournaments. The winner will win a trophy as well as tickets to the men's final at Roland-Garros!
